READIES NEWS! March Edition

Updated: Mar 23, 2021

We are getting the word out about the Little Witch Who Wanted to be Good and the Readies thanks to the help of the community!

GREAT REVIEW FROM FUTURE FUTURE TV PRESENTER?

See this great review from an 8 year old, the neighbour of Judy Dixey, which was featured on the Catholic Independent New web site.

What a professional and how relaxed the girl is in front of the camera. A future TV presenter no doubt!

SCHOOL WORKSHOP ON WORLD BOOK DAY

Sean Naughton the deputy head of St Mary's school in Clapham loved the book so much he invited me on World Book Day on 4th March 2021 to talk about it and writing for three classes on zoom.

I was a bit worried how it might work but fortunately he interviewed me! It was great fun as a lot of the children were wearing costumes. They asked some great questions.

A couple of other schools have also asked me if I might come and visit once lock down is over. So watch this space!

RIVERSIDE RADIO READIES

The Little Witch Who Wanted to be Good was also featured on Fayon Dixon's award winning Saturday morning children's show on Riverside Radio "The Kids are Alright."

I promised five free copies and stickers to children

It's clear there are already little Readies in the community helping others. Io told how she was helping by walking a busy neighbour's dog.

Nya Rae who is 7 told how she helped her mother who was working, prepare the dinner, and Eva who is 8, whose mother was also working, helped out by reading to her brother and helping him with his spelling!

Jessamy and Clara who were 5 also told what they had done to be good at home and at school.

THE LITTLE WITCH WHO WANTED TO BE GOOD TRAVELLING OVERSEAS!

Although the book has only been published six weeks, news about it is getting out and I have had orders from Ireland and as far as the USA.

I also have sent copies of the book to the Faulkland Islands, Holland, Germany, St Petersburg in Russia and Sweden!

I wonder what other countries it will end up in!
